Cameron Parker made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Parker was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Logan Credle was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Noah Crocker, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Lee Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for New Life Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lee Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like New Life Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.4. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
