The Butler Aviators waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 44-30 win over Piqua. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Butler has scored all season.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TATE KUHLMAN, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Martin, who scored seven points.
Piqua struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Butler's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Piqua, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sidney the next time they take the court. Piqua will host Sidney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Butler will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on December 29th.
