The Verdugo Hills Dons will square off against the Fulton Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Verdugo Hills, who comes in off a win.
Verdugo Hills is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Monroe, posting a 55-20 victory. With the Dons ahead 28-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Jered Smith had an outrageously good game as he threw for 267 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. What's more, he racked up 141 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. A healthy portion of Smith's aerial production (113 yards to be exact) went to Jack Iafrate.
Verdugo Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anthony Leon and Zoeel Silva. Leon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Verdugo Hills, racking up 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Caleb Munroy, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-13 loss at the hands of Grant.
Verdugo Hills will have to contain Ethen Ramos as he made an impact in Fulton's last game. He threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns.
Verdugo Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Everything came up roses for Verdugo Hills against Fulton in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 31-2 victory. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
