Meanwhile, North Paulding scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Marietta 87-54 on the road. North Paulding has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.
McEachern's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-9. As for North Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
McEachern came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolfpack in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 45-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for McEachern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
