Softball Recap: Greene County Tech's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Greene County Tech came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Valley View Blazers. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Greene County Tech pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Valley View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-5.

Coming up, Greene County Tech will head out to take on Searcy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley View, they will welcome Beebe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
