The Flint Hills Christian Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Wakefield Bombers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flint Hills Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Flint Hills Christian strolled past Liberty HomeSchool Alliance with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. That's two games straight that Flint Hills Christian has won by exactly 16 points.
Meanwhile, Wakefield scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 70-3 win over Peabody-Burns. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-1.
Wakefield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige Smith, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Smith hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Allison Adams, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Flint Hills Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Wakefield, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-9.
