The Living Water Homeschool Marlins suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 64-29 loss at the hands of Northside L. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Living Water Homeschool has scored all season.
Northside L's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DUKE KARNES led the charge by scoring 20 points along with four steals. JOEY HEASTON was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Living Water Homeschool now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Northside L, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Living Water Homeschool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Anderson HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Northside L will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
