The Bountiful RedHawks will face off against the Riverton Silverwolves at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bountiful comes in on four and Riverton on nine.
If Bountiful beats Riverton with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Bountiful's pitcher stepped up to hand Viewmont a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the RedHawks, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ella Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aspyn Danner, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Bountiful kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Riverton faced Bear River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Riverton had just enough and edged out Bear River 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Silverwolves have posted since April 25, 2024.

At the plate, Riverton got a massive performance out of Grace Leary, who fired off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. Bre Mackay was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Bountiful's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Riverton, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Riverton's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Bountiful has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Riverton, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Bountiful keep running through batters, or will Riverton buck the trend?
