Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anthony Wayne). They blew past the Clay Eagles, posting a 91-20 win. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Anthony Wayne had a senior duo take command as Elise Bender almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine boards and Brooke Bender went 8 of 9 en route to 23 points and four steals. Elise is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Pike, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points and three steals.

Anthony Wayne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Clay still got an impressive performance from Grace Toth, who posted nine points.

Anthony Wayne's record is now 15-2. As for Clay, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anthony Wayne will head out to square off against Whitmer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
