After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ware County, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Leon Lions, posting a 70-0 win. That 70 point margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

Taylor Jacobs Jr produced another solid performance throwing for 253 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards and one TD. Maliek Denmark also helped with two scores in total.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.6 points over those games. As for Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-3.
