Elyria Christian can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Herington 78-28 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Elyria Christian as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Herington lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyus Becker, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Mortensen, who scored eight points.
Elyria Christian pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Herington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elyria Christian will take on the Warriors at TBD on Monday. Peabody-Burns will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the are ranked 85th). As for Herington, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
