There's no place like home for Fort Plain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cherry Valley-Springfield Patriots on Monday as the Fort Plain Hilltoppers made off with a 64-41 victory. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Hilltoppers this season.

Fort Plain's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Keane, who posted 24 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Keane has scored at least a third of Fort Plain's points. Another player making a difference was Landon VanGorder, who scored 17 points.

Fort Plain's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Cherry Valley-Springfield, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
