Goldthwaite came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Junction Eagles 77-46. Goldthwaite has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Goldthwaite pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Junction, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Goldthwaite will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harper at 3:45 p.m. on December 31st. Junction and Navasota will round out the year against one another at at 9:50 a.m. on Friday.
