Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jay). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Blacksher Bulldogs 73-39.

Jay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Mandell out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. Mandell has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Brady Godwin was another key player, going 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds.

Jay pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Blacksher, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Jay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-48 victory against Paxton on the 7th. As for Blacksher, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-47 loss against Thomasville on the 7th.
