The Comstock Park Panthers fell victim to the West Catholic Falcons''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Falcons, falling 70-0. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Comstock Park in their matchups with West Catholic: they've now lost eight in a row.
Charlie DeBruyn was on fire for West Catholic: he rushed for 172 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Mike Murphy was another major influence, as he rushed for 46 yards and ran in a TD.
West Catholic's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Comstock Park's QB won't forget Ethan Stoner anytime soon given Stoner sacked him seven times.
Comstock Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for West Catholic, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Comstock Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Catholic will look to defend their home field on Friday against Oakridge at 7:00 p.m. Oakridge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
