Trinity Christian Homeschool will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Central HomeSchool Patriots at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Trinity Christian Homeschool and three for the Patriots.
Last Friday, Trinity Christian Homeschool was the victim of a rough 64-43 defeat at the hands of the Eagles.
Meanwhile, East Central HomeSchool suffered a rough 70-44 loss at the hands of the Lightning on Monday. While losing is never fun, East Central HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Lightning are ranked 86th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Knox Cooper, who scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Greyson Boyd, who scored 17 points.
Trinity Christian Homeschool dropped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East Central HomeSchool, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
Trinity Christian Homeschool was taken down by the Patriots 74-37 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Trinity Christian Homeschool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
