White Pine is a perfect 3-0 against Round Mountain since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. White Pine will head out to square off against Round Mountain at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
White Pine is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over GV Christian on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Guardians: they've now won four in a row.

Camden Johnson was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Layla Ruesch also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
White Pine was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Round Mountain never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Sandy Valley 22-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Samarah Swafford was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Swafford was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Round Mountain got a massive performance out of Baylee Dutton, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Dutton has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Layci Thibodeaux, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
White Pine pushed their record up to 7-9 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.2 runs over those games. As for Round Mountain, their record is now 6-1.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. White Pine has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .453. However, it's not like Round Mountain struggles in that department as they've averaged .607. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
