The Nipmuc Regional Warriors were the 34-6 winner over the Sutton Sammies when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Nipmuc Regional took a 20-6 bruising from Sutton on Saturday. Nipmuc Regional was down 20-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
It was another big night for Landon Dulmaine, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Dulmaine is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played.
Nipmuc Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sutton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Nipmuc Regional will head out on the road to face off against Northbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northbridge is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Sutton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. North is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
