Basketball Game Preview: Motivation Jaguars vs. Science Leadership Academy

Motivation is 3-0 against Science Leadership Academy since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Motivation Jaguars will look to defend their home court against Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. Motivation will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Motivation challenged Franklin Learning Center on Thursday. Motivation walked away with a 61-54 win over Franklin Learning Center.

Motivation got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Siriman Singare out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave Singare a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chace White, who posted 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Meanwhile, Science Leadership Academy's game on Thursday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Swenson Arts & Tech 49-31.

Motivation better keep an eye on Sebastian Torres. He was instrumental in Science Leadership Academy's win, putting up 22 points. Torres continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jason Babilonia was another key player, earning ten points.

Motivation is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Science Leadership Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.

Motivation was able to grind out a solid victory over Science Leadership Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 62-50. Does Motivation have another victory up their sleeve, or will Science Leadership Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
