Everything went their way against Alexandria Central as Copenhagen made off with a 59-34 win. With that victory, Copenhagen brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Copenhagen had a senior duo take command as Landon Sullivan scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals and Samuel Carroll scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. Carroll has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Miller, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Copenhagen's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Alexandria Central, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copenhagen will take on Lyme Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lyme Central has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 29. As for Alexandria Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sackets Harbor Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
