Basketball Recap: Caro Comes Up Short

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Caro was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the Cass City Red Hawks by a score of 28-25. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Caro still got an impressive performance from Evan Langmaid, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points. That's the most points Langmaid has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Julian Wilding, who posted six points.

Even though they lost, Caro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Caro has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Cass City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caro has already played their next game (against Reese), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cass City has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Millington.
