After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dixie, Thornwell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the GREEN Upstate Owls as the Thornwell Saints made off with a 45-19 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Saints have posted since December 12, 2024.

Thornwell's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for GREEN Upstate, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Thornwell will face off against Abbeville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Abbeville's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Thornwell's offense will have their work cut out for them. GREEN Upstate has already played their next matchup (against Dixie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
