Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hamilton walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Union Yellowjackets with a sharp 15-4 win on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Union, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yellowjackets beat Hamilton by a score of 5-1 on Saturday.
