Northeast had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Blanche Ely Tigers on Thursday as the Northeast Hurricanes made off with a 13-2 win. That's more bragging rights for the Hurricanes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Blanche Ely, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Northeast will take on Fort Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Lauderdale has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.4 runs per game on average), something Northeast will no doubt try to take advantage of. Blanche Ely will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hollywood Hills at 4:00 p.m. on April 2nd.
