Columbia had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 53-26 victory over Athens Academy at home. Columbia might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Columbia's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jadan Baugh, who rushed for 295 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and Lamaze Williams, who rushed for 300 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Cobb Christian beat Fannin County 33-27 on Saturday.

Columbia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for North Cobb Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
