Mohave Accelerated came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the North Valley Christian Academy Lions 60-40. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Mohave Accelerated was led to victory by Katie Farnell and Hazel Mae Barnett. Farnell went 11 for 23 on her way to 24 points along with eight steals and six rebounds, while Barnett went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and eight steals. Farnell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times she's played. Kennedy Lamb was another key player, putting up seven points.

Mohave Accelerated smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

North Valley Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Triniti Terracciano, who posted 17 points and four steals. That was a full 42.5% of North Valley Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Abby Rice, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Mohave Accelerated's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for North Valley Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-9.
