Lewis-Palmer had a senior duo take command as Cohen Edmondson scored 22 points and Damarion Jelks scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jelks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Noah Johnson, who scored nine points.
When it comes to explaining why Palmer Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jimmer Weir. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Weir has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Kay, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Lewis-Palmer has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
