West Valley had enough points to win and then some against Othello on Friday, taking their matchup 42-24.
The game started off well for West Valley, whose offense put up 33 first-half points. Othello came up with 10 to make it 33-10 heading into the break. Although they lost the second-half battle, they still had plenty to win the war. The match pushed Othello down to 1-2 and pulled West Valley up to the reverse at 2-1.
Next week West Valley take on Eastmont at 7:00 PM. Othello will look to defend their home turf against Quincy at 7:00 PM.
