Pecos is 0-10 against Andrews since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pecos Eagles' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Andrews Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Pecos will be strutting in after a victory while Andrews will be coming in after a defeat.
Pecos posted their closest victory yet this season last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over McCamey.
Meanwhile, Andrews' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-43 to Greenwood.
Pecos has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-13 record this season. As for Andrews, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-14.
Pecos lost to Andrews at home by a decisive 51-35 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Pecos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
