Petal had a rough outing against Brandon last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Petal came out on top against Jim Hill by a score of 42-30 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Petal as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Petal take on Meridian at 7:00 PM. Petal will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Jim Hill, they will face off against Pearl. Jim Hill stagger into the game hobbled by five consecutive losses while Pearl skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
