The Southwestern Trojans will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Salamanca Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Southwestern lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Fredonia 82-46. Southwestern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-31.
Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Salamanca's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 77-61 fall against Fredonia. Southwestern's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game.
