Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Bryant, who scored 24 points. That was a full 34.8% of Prattville's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Dunn, who scored 12 points along with six steals.
Prattville's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Stanhope Elmore, their victory bumped their record up to 9-17.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prattville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Chilton County is ranked 296th, while the Lions are ranked 300th). As for Stanhope Elmore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elmore County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
