After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stonington, Montville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ledyard Colonels by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by ten runs or more this season.

Montville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ledyard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montville will host Plainfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ledyard, they will be playing at home against Wheeler at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
