The Las Lomas Knights will take on the Concord Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Las Lomas came out on top against Campolindo on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run first inning. The Knights blew past the Cougars 11-1.
Lucy Bernhardt made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bernhardt was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

| 03/06/25 vs Acalanes | 1 |
In other batting news, Lexie Kou was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madison Farvar, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Las Lomas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Campolindo only posted an OBP of .348.
Meanwhile, Concord got themselves on the board against Ygnacio Valley two weeks ago, but Ygnacio Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 24-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.
Like Las Lomas, Concord also got a great game from a two-way player: Kendal Schaefer. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Schaefer has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shay Caban, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Anna Marie Del Rosario was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
The win got Las Lomas back to even at 6-6. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Las Lomas has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Concord struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Las Lomas came out on top in a nail-biter against Concord in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 8-6. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
