Trinity Episcopal hasn't had much luck against Kenston Forest recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will face off against the Kavaliers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kenston Forest will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Trinity Episcopal extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Titans' pitcher stepped up to hand Collegiate a 13-0 shutout. The contest marked the Titans' most dominant win of the season so far.
Brooke Shelton made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Shelton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

In other batting news, Trinity Episcopal got a massive performance out of Magovern Rollins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Rollins a new career-high in doubles (two). Claire Gibbs was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Kenston Forest made sure to put some runs up on the board against Fuqua on Tuesday. The Kavaliers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Falcons.
Like Trinity Episcopal, Kenston Forest also got a great game from a two-way player: Aubrey Mayton (2026). On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Mayton (2026) was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Hayden Hudson (2029) was a standout: she scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Palyn Marker (2027), who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Kenston Forest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fuqua only posted a batting average of .217.
Trinity Episcopal pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kenston Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Trinity Episcopal has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .457. However, it's not like Kenston Forest struggles in that department as they've averaged .500. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
