After losing to the Delta Eagles the last time they met, the Yorktown Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Yorktown enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over Delta on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given Yorktown's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Delta is ranked 30th).
Yorktown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Grim led the charge by scoring 18 points along with five assists. That's the first time this season that Grim scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieran Tewari, who scored 12 points along with seven assists.
