After flying high against the Tri-Point Chargers last Wednesday, the Dwight Trojans came back down to earth. Dwight took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seneca on Monday. Dwight has not had much luck with Seneca recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Dwight saw an underclassman step up: Ryan Bean scored eight points.
Dwight now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Seneca, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Dwight will head out on the road to face off against Lexington at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lexington is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Seneca will be home for the holidays to greet Serena at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Serena is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
