Avery Gibbs paced Thompson Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gibbs got some help from
Ashlyn Tafoya and her 32 assists. Tafoya also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with
Lauren Jacobson, racking up three apiece.
Despite the defeat, Windsor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Smiley had 14 digs. Smiley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 19 games she's played.
Thompson Valley's victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.
Thompson Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lutheran on the 16th. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
