North Royalton extended the longest winning streak in Northeast Ohio - River this week by beating Cuyahoga Falls, 24-23. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Hunter Parsh threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns. He went 14-22 with one interceptions.
Mitchell Guadagni was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 112 yards as Hudson bested the Black Tigers. Ben Gedeon also contributed to the rushing game with 110 yards on the ground.
Travis Tarnowski provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Nick Ciulli's team defeated Cuyahoga Falls. He completed 13 passes for 214 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 79 yards. Tarnowski's favorite target this week was Lint, who caught eight passes for 143 yards.
The Bears' Tarnowski and Lint have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tarnowski has thrown for 2064 yards this season, while Lint, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 33 catches for 619 yards. Jordan Connell from Elyria leads the league in rushing with 772 yards.
Two of the top units in Northeast Ohio - River will face off this week when the Pioneers take on the Explorers. Elyria's offense has scored 355 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Hudson has allowed only 147 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ron Wright's team takes on the Pioneers. As it stands, the Explorers are in second, while Elyria is in third.
