Braden River won the last time they faced Venice and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates blew past the Indians 5-1. Considering Braden River have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Venice with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maddie Baehr (2), Victoria Caiazzo, Jordynn Roberts, and Laila Johnston.

Braden River's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Venice, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-3.

Looking ahead, Braden River will take on North Port at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Venice, they will welcome Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
