Boise pushed their score to seven the last time they played Borah, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. Boise fell just short of Borah by a score of 3-1. The Brave's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Aidric Bird spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Boise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calder Hansen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Boise's record now sits at 7-3. As for Borah, their record is now 5-6.

Looking ahead, Boise is taking a road trip to square off against Capital at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Borah, they will take on Twin Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Borah will need to watch out since Twin Falls has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
