After losing to the Treasure Coast Titans the last time they met, the Sebastian River Sharks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Sebastian River came out on top against Treasure Coast by a score of 27-20 on Friday.
Samiya Adams was her usual excellent self, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and four steals. Daphne Gibson was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Sebastian River is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Treasure Coast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Sebastian River will head out on the road to challenge Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Merritt Island is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Treasure Coast will take on Dwyer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
