There's no place like home for the Midfield Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-44 win over Fairfield on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Midfield, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Midfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamiya Webb led the charge by scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and six blocks. Webb is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Stokes, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Midfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Fairfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
