After flying high against the Valley Vikings on Monday, the Meadow Heights Panthers came back down to earth. Meadow Heights was the victim of a tough 60-35 defeat at the hands of Bismarck on Tuesday. Meadow Heights was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bismarck apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Bismarck's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Hawkins, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Halie Dickey, who scored 22 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds.
Meadow Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bismarck, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Meadow Heights will head out on the road to face off against Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for Bismarck, they will be playing at home against Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
