Forrest County Agricultural extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 5 this week by beating Quitman, 25-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Forrest County Agricultural made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 674 from 760. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 25-14 victory over the Panthers last week.
Larry Dolan's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Carter Hankins threw for 205 and 1 touchdown and Corey Husband had 104 yards receiving. On the ground Dontavian Lee contributed 34 yards. Darius Leggett helped Forrest County Agricultural's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 80 yards.
Hankins put up the best numbers through the air as the Aggies bested Quitman. Hankins' favorite target this week was Husband, who caught 3 passes for 104 yards.
Forrest County Agricultural's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Aggies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hankins has thrown for 2,386 yards and 27 touchdowns this season, while Husband has 40 catches for 1,125 yards.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Forrest County Agricultural's Hankins. He connected with Husband on a 60-yard throw and catch as the Aggies bested Steven Bynum's team.
