McKeel Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Lake Placid since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. McKeel Academy will challenge Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. McKeel Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Lake Placid's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Placid). They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over Tenoroc on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.
Logan Sartori made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Sartori was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Ezekial Daley was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Eddy Tinajero, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Lake Placid hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.
McKeel Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Placid, their record is now 7-11.
Everything went McKeel Academy's way against Lake Placid when the teams last played back in April of 2015, as McKeel Academy made off with a 9-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for McKeel Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
