Gregory is 9-0 against Scotland since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gregory Gorillas will be playing at home against the Scotland Highlanders at 8:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gregory has three straight victories, Scotland has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Gregory gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Wagner 61-32 at home. With Gregory ahead 32-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Cruz Klundt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Mitchell, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Scotland suffered a rough 77-54 loss at the hands of Bridgewater/Emery on Monday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Scotland in their matchups with Bridgewater/Emery: they've now lost three in a row.
Gregory has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Scotland, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Gregory against Scotland in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 63-30 victory. Will Gregory repeat their success, or does Scotland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
