There's no place like home for the Blanco Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They strolled past Ingram Moore with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-21. That's another feather in the cap for Blanco, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mina Broyles was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Broyles is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Candice Lopez was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Blanco's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Ingram Moore, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blanco will take on Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Ingram Moore, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brady at 6:30 p.m.
