After flying high against the Haworth Lions on Monday, the Wright City Lumberjax came back down to earth. Wright City fell 47-36 to Caddo on Thursday. It was the first time this season that Wright City let down their fans at home.
Wright City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Vance, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Vance continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Scrivner, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Wright City's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-2. As for Caddo, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
