Manalapan added to the longest winning streak in Shore - North A this week by beating Colts Neck, 48-18. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Braves.
Middletown South took down Marlboro 52-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Manalapan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dan Anerella threw for 126 and 3 touchdowns and Saeed Blacknall had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Leonetti contributed 166 yards. Leonetti helped Manalapan's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 34 yards.

Jack O'Brien was a passing and rushing force as Freehold Township lost to Howell. He completed 14 passes for 166 yards and also ran for 81 yards. O'Brien's favorite target this week was Matt Pine, who caught 3 passes for 35 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Rebels' Connor McGlynn and Joey Schultz have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback McGlynn has thrown for 1,373 yards this season, while Schultz has 32 catches for 508 yards. Colts Neck's Anthony Gargiulo leads the league in rushing yards with 874.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Greg Lacava's team takes on the Patriots. As it stands, the Cougars are in second, while Freehold Township is in sixth.
